Co-learning within an EU project
The New Water Culture Foundation (FNCA) in Spain is overseeing the development of effective measures for new groundwater policy and management through the UPWATER project. Julia Martinez-Fernández, the director of FNCA, will work with research partners to engage with end-users in the water management process and bring knowledge together through a unique interdisciplinary approach. Participatory workshops will take place in Denmark, Greece, and Spain to engage with relevant stakeholders and develop long-term solutions. The UPWATER project members will keep the public informed of its progress and share insights with NGOs and citizen networks to educate society and promote a new mindset on water treatment.
